She's awesome.

The House of Mirth was sort of meh, but is a popular work that lots of people read, and movies have been made from it. But I'd start with something like Ethan Frome, or Age of Innocence. I think I read The Custom of the Country first, and that's what made me fall in love with her. Either that or Ethan. I loved them both, really.

Roman Fever is a later work of hers that I read last. I loved it more than any of the others.Faithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13586875268181033533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4018180727601563844.post-90515100840854432872008-09-25T12:35:00.000-04:002008-09-25T12:35:00.000-04:00I was thinking that Mansfield Park may be my next ...I was thinking that Mansfield Park may be my next attempt...

I have not read any Edith Wharton, I take it that you are recommending them?Stephaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01281152742477496810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4018180727601563844.post-11145444861980047572008-09-22T17:24:00.000-04:002008-09-22T17:24:00.000-04:00Mansfield Park, Mansfield Park, Mansfield Park...H...Mansfield Park, Mansfield Park, Mansfield Park...

Have you ever read any of Edith Wharton's work?
