FINALLY! My locks have been craving some pampering for a while!
However, when you're baking a human and then tending to said tiny, defenseless babe your looks and upkeep tend to go by the wayside. Thankfully, Mark was on vacation from work on Friday and I got a tip that the salon was offering 20% off services for short-notice appointments so I took advantage and got a trim!
*sigh* MUCH better! Of course most of you don't know what a mess it looked like before, but basically just imagine a limp, shapeless, overdue for a trim, split-end mess. It was to the point where I didn't even like to wear it down. ICK!
Your hair looks so good! I wish I could say the same about mine. I just got it cut and it is too short. Can't wait until it grows a bit. 20% off is awesome!
ReplyDeleteWow, you have really shiny hair! It looks great! I want to go get mine cut now, but I've wanted it long forever.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteI always go back and forth on length, but most of the time my hair is on the longer side. Often because I'm too lazy to upkeep a shorter cut to be honest :P
This time I opted for a medium length. I just wanted to make sure I could still ponytail it. Little Mister has decided that Momma's hair is a play toy. Ouch!
I hear you on the hair thing! I am a first time mommy, too, and all my hair fell out about 3 months postpartum. Well, not all of it, but a whole lot of it, and now I have long hair with a think layer of short hair underneath! It ain't pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing I don't have much time to worry about my hair, anyway :)
